It’s that time of year again! As you stumble from party to party just know that Sabatta will be thinking of you…as we stumble from party to party!

Before we all go off on the lash we though we’d let you know we’ve got some good things in store for the new year:

• We’ve been recording new material and plan which is due for release a new EP in the Spring with a full album to follow in Summer!
• We’ve already got some very cool shows booked supporting some great bands so stay tuned – it looks like it’s ‘08 gonna be a big year for SABATTA!!

And since it’s Xmas we have some great special offers!

2007 has been an eventful year for SABATTA, we had a few changes in the band, Purple Turtle became our second home and started we recording tracks for a new album and through it all we’d like to say thanks for all your support over the past year and enjoy ALL the season has to offer and we’ll see you nice and hungover next year!

It's very, very exciting! The gig at the Mother Bar is tomorrow and I can't wait!! nolt gonna stay on this long - let's keep it simple eh?

Here is "You" - (it's so short i've posted the whole tune!) a rarely played gem that will be played a lot more often from now on! The song was written in a fit of rage - the lyrics are self explanatory - sometimes you just gotta let out! Then we have "Burnt" from the Princes Raw album! This song is about doing things you know you shouldn't and paying the price for it.

Ah I remember this gig! It was Hugo's first i think! Anyway we were at the Fly - an intimate little venue on Oxford Street, London.

I'm not sure what i'm doing in this pic but I'm probably getting my "guitar" out! Not adjusting my fly.

Hey there!

It’s a late update this morning (ok it’s almost the afternoon)! To be honest I refuse to get up at the crack of dawn every morning that just wouldn’t be rock ‘n’ roll! But as a bonus I’m uploading a few gems! Ok first we have “Raw” which despite being part of the album title “Princess Raw” it never actually made it to the album – go figure cos it’s a banger! It’s a great tune and we’ll be playing it on Friday.

Next we have a tune called “Love Like a nervous breakdown” – it’s a true story about a particular relationship I had with a certain girl anyway you see Bob Marley next to me in the picture and though song is NOT reggae at all it’s just got that kind of mellow vibe and it's acoustic, with percussion! (damn it was GROOVY that day)

OI!!! LISTEN!

Ok, ok. I WAS gonna put some shit up yesterday BUT life happened (Camden - Alcohol, it's all BAD - bad meaning good!) Anyway it's Sunday eve and I am back in the building!! FUCK YES!

Today i have for you a snippet of a little tune that may end up on the next SABATTA album, we may very well play on Friday - hey it's a surprise fuckers!

It's a tune called Stop Start - we play it from time to time when we're felling energetic! It's our drummer Oli's favourite tune - so if you read this and you come down (stranger things have happened!) shout out his name and request it - he will be VERY grateful!

Ok for my next trick (it's funny cos you're really talking to yourself on these things, anyhoo!) I'm going to upload another bit of audio - yeah i like to mix it up a bit - this time it's a tune we play quite frequently at shows but until recently we played it TOO fast (thanks for sorting that out Oli). So here is the studio recorded version - which is a good speed but half the speed of some of the live versions we did back in the day - ADRENALIN - it's a helluva drug!!

Hi Headbangaz!! It’s Yinka right back up in your blogosphere!!

Let me introduce my 1^st proper, bona fide blog series! It’s called (well you can see the damn title!!) And it’s just me posting some shit up from the last 2/3 years – the time SABATTA has been around as a little taster in the run up to our last proper SABATTA show of the year @ the Mother bar/333 Club, Hoxton, London, UK on Friday 30 NOV (9 pm) Just be there!

Anyway back to the blog – so I’ve been looking through some shit and have come up with some rare treats – unreleased tunes and rare videos of the band at it’s early stages. So expect to see some different members and some shit you wouldn’t expect!

Let me know what you think as well – but remember – it’s not that serious!
